These dogs were bred from war mastiffs, and with the druids help they have become a vital addition to the war on monstrous humanoids and magical beasts coming out of the depths of the Gronzi forests. With the backing of Duke Medvyed, temple of Erastil and the Green Faith Circle these canine companions have helped enormously with the unending war on Lamashtus’s children coming out of a hidden location deep in the Gronzi forest.

They have a double coat of fur to keep them warm through the very long winters. Their fur range from dark brown to black and rarely white. They have huge paws that help them get around when it snows. These dogs would probably look like something between Tibetan mastiff and a Saint Bernard. They have a very calm demeanor a very deep loud bark and huge mouths to be able to take in large amounts of air and of course a large biting force. They don’t take kindly to being treated like a dog. They are to be treated like a person! They understand common and druidic. They range in weight from 180 to 220. They stand bigger than most ponies 3 ½ to 4 ft at shoulder height.
These intelligent canines are part of the Gray Guard used by Erastil’s church and the Green Faith circle. With druids, priests and rangers they have been keeping the villages and homesteads safe or at least a lot safer. The Gray Guard isn’t well known outside of the area. They don’t bask in recognition. They just do their jobs.
